If you can afford it, the Bayfront Convention Center wouldn't be a bad idea, especially with its new facilities so close to the water. Good luck!!! It is beautiful. I worked there a few years ago and yes, they do let people have weddings there. I think you rent it for about $500. But the costs may have changed. Call the Civic Center AKA Erie County Convention Center Box Office for details and if you haven't been in the Warner Theater, go take a look. If I didn't have a Church Wedding, that would be my choice. The employees there are great to work with. The Warner Theatre! It is beautiful.
