I am trying to get some recommendations on campgrounds in the Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland area. I am looking for state parks that have RV camping and some recreational activities (ie. swimming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, boating, etc…). I really love campgrounds that are a little off the beaten path. Thanks for any info!!
if you’re an AAA member goto their website or into a local office – they have ratings and often discounts.

I have some family with a camper that live in that area, and i know that they like to use KOA (Kampgrounds of America).
