The marina won’t accept my boat?

I have the option right now to get a 30′ 1982 Penn Yan fly bridge boat for super cheap because it was abandoned. I have until Saturday morning to make the deal or it will be sold at auction, so I am kind of anxious. It is a very well taken care of boat, the outside is beautiful (hardly looks used) and while the interior is slightly dated, it is really clean and nice. So here I am calling all these marinas in Maryland and NO ONE will take me and my boat!!! One marina said because it’s fiberglass over wood and they don’t take those anymore. And the other marinas didn’t bother to explain why. Does anyone know what is up with that silly rule? The boat is beautiful!! What do I do? I am still calling marinas, but I am just so confused.

Can I cruise in an inflatable boat using trolling motors?

I live on the eastern shore of Maryland and I would like a way to get out on the water. Im a younger guy in college and I don’t have a great amount of money for a nice boat, and I really don’t even have anything to tow one. So I was looking at an inflatable boat and the electric motors. I was just wondering if was even possible for me to cruise the bay in one of these, or if it is unwise. If its not a good idea I was hoping maybe someone could give an alternative idea. Bear with me if this is a crazy idea im new to this and that’s why im here. I cant find any information telling me either way. Thanks everyone

Whats the maximum length for a boat before you cant tow it on a trailer?

I live in the state of Maryland. Me and my girlfriend are planning to build a 30 foot luxury boat and it stands about 10 feet from the undercarriage floor to the roof of the captain cabinet. Is this to big to tow on a trailer?
I do not have a shipyard close to me. Plus the ramp is about 15 minutes from my house. So i wouldn’t have to tow it far. Plus all the roads around here are double leaned and mostly highway. i think theres like 3 lights from here to there.
