I am selling a boat and trailer to a guy in Texas (I’m from Maryland). We are meeting half way so I want to have a bill of sale with our half already signed. My situation is that my Mother’s name is on the trailer and my name is on the boat title and my Mother can not go along to deliver the boat/trailer.
Can we get half of the bill of sale notarized when we sign and then the buyer can get his half notarized when he signs it later?
There will be two bills of sale, one for the boat and one for the trailer. Thanks!
